Why were navigation hotkeys removed in 5.0?

pre 5.0 update, you used to be able to hold the command, control and alt keys to quickly translate and rotate your models while holding these keys down in OSX.

in 5.0, the interface has become terribly slow, and sometimes becomes completely unresponsive in fullscreen, requiring you to exit fullscreen for any of the GUI to update, most notably when going back from a generated gcode preview to model placement and profile selection modes...

to be honest, everything was unanimously better in 4.x not sure why im still using this software, but i keep paying for the illusion of quality.

The hotkeys are different in V5. If you want to move a model just press 'W' on the keyboard. You can then move as many models as you want without having to constantly hold a hotkey like you did in V4. Same for rotate ('R') and scale ('E'). When you're doing with the transforms just press 'Q' to end. You can also use the buttons on the bottom toolbar if you prefer.

Most of our employees use V4 and V5 nearly every single day on many different computers in our office, and I can tell you that we definitely haven't seen the slowdown that you are talking about. V5 is generally quite a bit faster than V4 from all the machines we use here.

If you're seeing a specific performance issue, perhaps it would help to share more info about your computer setup. What exact hardware are you using? What monitor is connected to the computer? Might also help to know what graphics driver you have installed in case it is a driver issue.
