Simplify3D User Forum

After going from 5.1.0 to 5.1.2 all of my prints on all of my machines under extrude.

Reinstalled 5.1.0 matched all the settings and 5.1.0 works great go back to 5.1.2 and under extrusion galore.

I did a comparison of the first G1 move in both of the gcodes.
Looks like 5.1.2 extruded .0089mm of filament per 1mm of movement and 5.1.0 extrudes .0154mm of filament per 1mm of movement.
I cannot find anything different between the codes that would cause this.


Any ideas?

I don't know of anything that changed in the software from 5.1.0 to 5.1.2 that would have affected your extrusion like this. However, maybe it would help to put together a more simple test case. For example, try printing something like a thin rectangle where you set the infill angle to aligned at 0 degrees. That way you only get extrusions that move left to right. Then it should be very easy to compare the gcode from both versions to see if you spot differences in the settings.
