Simplify3D User Forum

This may be here but I can't find it. I am looking for a way to change my infill for different parts of a model. I keep finding tutorials on different Processes for different Z zones, but cannot find anything for different X or Y zones. Is this possible?

Example is I have a parts that needs the left hand side to be at 0 infill and the right 4 mm needs to be at 100% infill. Because of the shape of the model I cannot rotate it to use the Z axis zone multiprocess feature.

Can this be done in Simplify3D??

You could try splitting the part in 2, and then use a different process for each piece. If you go that route, it would probably also help to add some kind of joining feature (dovetail, peg and hole, etc).
