Simplify3D User Forum

Hi all,

I'm trying to print a very large file, 32mb, filling the entire build space and needing a really quite ridiculous amount of supports.

The file loads fairly well and I can view it just fine, but when I hit Prepare to Print, progress freezes about 10% along on the progress bar no matter how long I leave it (even overnight.) If I try to close it with cancel or x out of the program it just freezes and all I can do is force close. Any way to make simplify like large files better?

That probably means you're running out of memory. Why don't you post the factory file for others to try? That way we can tell if it's just a problem with your computer's resources
