Multi Screen windows size issue

I use a laptop with a 4K monitor as second screen. To get a good readability the two screens have different multiplying factors in the Windows display setting: x125 for the laptop and x200 for the 4K screen.
I usually move the S3D window on the big 4K screen and I close the program from there.
Next time I run the S3D program it remembers the position on the screen but the size is calculated based on the multipliyng factor of the other screen, from where it has been launched. So every time the program window is bigger and in few cycles itt becomes larger than a single screen, up to fit completely the screen. At this point the caption bar of the window is no more accessible and you can only close the program from the status bar.

The behavior is inverted running S3D from an icon on the second screen and keeping the working window on the first screen (just to test). In this case the windows size of the program is progressively reduced every time you close and run again the program.

This is not a blocking issue, but it is quite annoying.
Is there a simple configuration option to avoid this behavior?
Thanks
Guido

Re: Multi Screen windows size issue

Are you running the latest V5.1.2 release?

There are probably ways that you can completely disable the scaling or just set it to a constant value (say 150%) if you want it to remain consistent. Another idea might be to try resizing the window after it opens, as sometimes that allows it to recognize the DPI settings for that screen (I've seen this work in many other programs as well).

Re: Multi Screen windows size issue

Thanks for your answer.
Yes, I am running S3D version 5.1.2.
I also noticed that other programs have the same problem (eg: "Teams").
I tried setting the same multiplying factor on both screen and this solves, but I cannot work with a 4K monitor using 125%.
I have to use 200% to have the screen readable.

Resizing manually the windows every time I open the program is a solution but must be done every time I run the program.

Only the size of the window changes, all other objects are of the correct size, so it seems only the windows size is unproperly conditioned by the multiplying factor.
