Prusa MK4 with firmware >= 5.1.0

I recently upgraded my Prusa MK4 from firmware version 5.0.1 to 5.1.2 and the gcode generated by the S3D profile I received from support no prints well (patchy first layer, layer gaps, etc). The same thing happens with firmware version 5.1.0. However, reverting back to firmware 5.0.1 fixes the issue. Thus, it appears that some change in the firmware versions >= 5.1.0 is incompatibile with the S3D profile for the MK4 (perhaps the star/end gcode needs to be modified?)

Has anyone created a Prusa MK4 profile that works with firmware versions >= 5.0.1?

Can you try re-printing a gcode file that you already ran successfully on a prior firmware version? The Z positions in that file won't change, so if the machine suddenly prints differently it might mean the bed has moved significantly, or there's some other breaking change in their firmware that is going to mess up all the prior files.

Have you tried re-leveling the bed? You could also try entering a small negative value for the global Z-axis offset (for example -0.05).
