Mac Sonoma 14.2.1 breaks gcode export/save

Upgraded Mac (intel) to Sonoma 14.2.1 causing all V5 variants of Simplify3D (latest is 5.1.2) to now fail to export/save gcode files correctly. If attempting to export/save to the SD card used by the printer, the error message is "Failed to export file to selected location".

If the gcode file is first exported/saved to a on-disk location and then copied from that location to the SD card, the error message is "The Finder can’t complete the operation because some data in “NewGroundPlane.gcode” can’t be read or written. (Error code -36)".

Re: Mac Sonoma 14.2.1 breaks gcode export/save

We haven't had any issues on our computers running the latest MacOS Sonoma. The fact that you can't even copy a file from the hard drive to the SD card probably means it's an issue with the card itself, since that doesn't involve S3D at all. Maybe try reformatting the card or using a different card reader.

I haven't had any such issues in Sonoma 14.3b3 or any previous Sonoma release or beta.
