Settings keep reverting from advanced mode without thinking it has

I'll have my process settings menu open and come back to it from another program and all of a sudden the top tabs (extruder, additions, layers, etc.) have disappeared but S3D *still* thinks it is in advanced mode. The only way to fix it is to toggle back to simple mode, then back to advanced mode. Getting pretty irritating to have to do that all the time.

I do not believe we have ever seen this behavior reported before. Maybe you can post a few screenshots or a video to demonstrate it in more detail? I haven't been able to reproduce anything like this on the computers I have on hand.
