I trying to print and object 10 times sequential. The object has two process zones. When I try to print these sequential it first prints all the first zones and then the second zones but what I want to do is to make the printer first finish the first object with the two zones and then move to the next object.
Any ideas? I grouped the processes but that didn't work.
Hi,
I've attached a factory file here that does exactly that.
Here's what I did:
1. Import the part.
2. Use Variable Settings Wizard to create the zones at different heights.
3. Change the processes to your liking.
4. Duplicate your parts.
5. Use Variable Settings Wizard to use different settings for different models. If you're using two custom zones, you will have to do this twice.
6. Prepare to print (select all processes, sequential printing, set clearance height)
Note that:
1. Sequential Printing Clearance Height needs to be higher than your part.
2. If your objects close enough that their skirt regions combine, they will be printed as if they're the same part. Simply move them further / reduce the skirt offset / turn them off to avoid this.
You have to be careful that the nozzle doesn't hit your already printed object as it works on subsequent ones. That's why I don't do sequential printing.
Hmm, your example isn't displaying what I want to do. I want it to print the first object (two processes) then move on to the next object.
Here it sequentially prints all the first processes and then all the second ones.
Hi,
You will have to increase the Max clearance height to 20mm (after pressing prepare to print) in the factory file that I've attached previously to get your intended workflow.
