Hello, is there a way to show thumbnails on the display for the Tronxy X5SA? This is possible in Cura. But I've preferred working with S3D for a long time.

We currently support many different kinds of thumbnail formats including that of Tronxy Firmware. In Edit Process Settings, you can enable Include thumbnail images and select the 'Qidi Technology, Tronxy Firmware' Thumbnail Encoding. Can you try that and see if it works?
