Please add the ability to generate internal bridges. Dense internal infill is useful and comes close to fulfilling this role, but does not replace it entirely. As of right now it is just one more missing feature that puts simplify behind free and open source slicers like prusa or cura.

What exactly do you mean by internal bridges? Could you provide a picture from cura or prusaslicer?
