What's next for S3D?

Nothing has happened at Simplify3D for almost two years now.
Is the program still being developed further?
Will there still be a competitive version?

You're addressing a brick wall. They never publicize their plans.

Great way to instill trust and transparency in your customers and potential business customers isn't it?

Re: What's next for S3D?

I just answered a similar question a few weeks ago, so here's what we can share:

I certainly appreciate that we would all like faster and more frequent updates. The reality though is that larger releases take extra time to complete. I know the team has been open about the next major V6 update we are working on, and they've been steadily adding major features to that release for the last year. It's getting closer, so we hope to have more to share soon.

In the meantime, we've been constantly communicating with customer every single day, both here on the forum and via email. We've also done a great job continuing to deliver over the air software updates for the V5 release such as new printer compatibility and print quality improvements via settings changes.

So again, we do hear the feedback, and we'll continue doing what we can to deliver updates faster, but big releases like V6 will always take extra time to complete and it's really hard to avoid that.

If you have any other questions about it, feel free to reach out to our team directly at the link below and we can discuss more:
