First of all, I would suggest going to help --> reset all settings. Then restart the software and select the Rep 2X from the configuration assistant. That will make sure that the firmware and slicing settings are correctly set. For example, if your firmware settings were wrong, you could easily be off by 0.2mm as you mentioned.
After you have done that, I would print a simple 20mm x 20mm cube, but set the infill to 0%, top solid layers to 0, and only 1 perimeter outline. When the print is done, measure the thickness of the single outline wall. It should match the value you have set for extrusion width (I believe it is 0.4mm by default). If it is too large, then you might need to decrease your extrusion multiplier.
