Hi, i have a Micron3DP extruder that has 1168 step/mm on my machine (1/16th microstepping). In the Firmware configuration if i get over 999 step / mm (.e. 1168) the point is automatically deleted and the step/mm number become 1168000000 (zero plus or minus i cant remember the number, it was just big). if i stay under 1000 (i.e. 999 step/mm) the paramater stays correct.

Best Regards

Federico

The Steps-Per-MM values are only for jogging of X3G machines. The Micro3D (G-Code) won't be affected by these, (also I believe the Profile should be set to RepRap(Marlin/Sprinter/Repetier)) where the X3G tab isn't even shown.

:D

Yes but i'm using Sailfish on a custom printer with Micron3DP extruder. And it matters on a calibration phase, if you want to calibrate perfectly your extruder.
