Simplify3D User Forum

I have a thin accent piece part to print that is modeled to a height of 0.600 mm (S3D confirms the mesh is that high)

When I slice it with a 0.2 mm layer height, I get 2 layers (0.4 mm), when I use 0.1 mm layers I get 5 layers (0.5 mm)

What might cause this behavior

Could you attach a factory file here so we can take a look at it?

Hmm I think I figured it out but I appreciate your support, it appeared to be a caper to do with my 150% first layer height. Thanks
