Snapmaker U1 Toolchanger

Any plans to create a profile for the U1? Any U1 Backers planning on trying out S3D with it?

I'm particularly upset that the email sent from Snapmaker today states that you cannot use different sized nozzles in a single print :x I do this all the time on my 7-year-old CR-10S!

If this isn't a firmware issue and it's a lack of functionality in their OrcaSlicer fork, then I assume S3D would be able to...?

I would also love to see support for the Snapmaker U1 and other toolchangers

I emailed Support about this, and this is their Reply, if you're interested hit 'em up ([email protected]):

Will you be releasing any U1 profiles? I'm particularly looking for ASA and using multiple nozzle sizes on different toolheads.

Example: Toolhead #1 0.4mm | Toolhead #2 0.4mm | Toolhead #3 0.6mm | Toolhead #4 0.8mm

The Biggest issue is the lack of PROPER DOCUMENTATION of Simplify3D Variables

Understood and here's to hoping that S3D Support is working on this... I know no one wants to pay for a Slicer anymore, but this may be an opportunity to change people's minds 🤘🤘
