connecting 3d printer to simplify3d

Hi All,

I'm trying to setup a direct connection so I can control my 3d printer. I was able to do that with my previous printer, but the one I have now is giving me headach.

Printer: Leapfrog Bolt
Process: Raspberry Pi3
Running on Octoprint with own GUI.

The only thing I can do right now is upload a Gcode file to a webinterface and start printing.
But I like to setup and calibrate my E-steps for instance, but not getting any control to my printer.

In simplify3d > Machine Tool > setup new printer > over WIFI > then I have connection.

But as soon as I want to move an axis, simplify 3d is asking an API key?
What is that, how do I get an API key? I never had that before.

Re: connecting 3d printer to simplify3d

Ok little update, as I have found the API key and can control my printer partually.
However sending M500, M501, or M503 codes will not be recognized. printer is saying "unknown command"
