single extruder, multiple swapped-in filaments

Hi All,

Does S3D support slicing for a print setup that has a single extruder that can handle multiple (N-number-of) materials/colors? I see in the FAQ that it can support up to 6 extruders, but that is not the same thing. Would one use a process per material/color to handle this? would the processes need to employ macros or similar to deal with tool changing? Could these processes also alter nozzle size and temp?

Thanks for any input or further reading that can help here.
