All my profile files have disappeared.

Bonjour,
When I launched Simplify, I had to reconfigure everything because my printer was no longer set up. All my profile files have disappeared.
They aren't in :
C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Simplify3D\S3D-Software-V5
I have to start all over again—this is a disaster!!
This isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I can’t work like this anymore.

Fortunately, loading a fairly recent .factory file apparently allowed me to restore my printer profile along with most of my material profile files.
But I don't understand why Simplify was reset

For information the response :
"This sounds like an issue caused by using the process list to store profiles. If this is the case, please go to each process, and click on the top right of Edit Process settings "Save as New..." to actually save the profiles properly. To check if the profiles are saved, you can then go to C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Simplify3D\S3D-Software-V5\Profiles\ to check. The profiles will be saved as something like "abcdef123.xml", which you can open with a text editor like notepad to check.
The process list is never intended to be a permanent storage of profiles. By default, the processes list gets restored every time you open Simplify3D, which is why you were able to use your previous workflow. However, this is not reliable as any improper quitting of the program (e.g. power outage, windows updates, software crashes) will result in those temporary files being lost. "
