Avoid infill immediately below small raised features

Apologies if this has been mentioned before...

At the moment, if you have a small feature raised above a flat surface (i.e. text or a line, etc.), s3d will not simply add the extra plastic on top of the flat surface but will omit the solid layer immediately below the raised feature. While I can see that this makes sense when the raised feature is large, it has a detrimental effect on the quality of the surface finish because the solid layer is printed in segments rather than in one operation (obviously, this is influenced by the presence of other features like holes, etc.) Also, breaking the solid layer unnecessarily introduces a weakness into the structure.

What would be nice is a simple parameters that controls whether the solid layer is omitted under raised features of a given size. So you could then set it to, say, 2mm and that would keep the layer solid when the raised feature is less than 2mm wide across its minimum width at any given point. The solid layer would then be printed without holes and the resulting quality should be improved, the strength maintained and the print time reduced. Surely a win?
