Do the infill options work correctly?

I tried both concentric infill and random infill but none seem to take effect on my prints, prints kept printed rectilinear infill, and not random even if i tick the checkbox.

Also, when's the next major update coming, if any!?

Yes they work. Keep in mind thats only on solid infill layers. Tops and bottoms. There is no set release schedule but historically there is an update every 3-4mos.

I think they had at least 6 releases last year, so it's probably a bit less than that. Recent average seems to be more like 2 months.
