Re: FFF Profile Feature on Webpage

As its Polling Day in the UK, I've got to give a political answer!!!

That's a very good question, but the question you should be asking is "Can someone document a good procedure for running through a string of steps/tests to set up a printer to print in a new material and/or filament?"

As every printer is slightly different, eg slightly different nozzle size, resistance to flow, etc, different extruder and bed temperatures for indicated values, and the properties of filament of different colours and manufacture, then its highly unlikely that a setup from one printer will give exactly the same results on another printer.

What is needed, is a well proven sequence of print profile setup in the form of a number of small test prints, etc that can be followed whenever you have a new material...or are experiencing issues getting a different filament supply/colour to print well. The forum contains an excellent series of procedures to cure individual print issues....but I'd really love to learn from the experts on here how I can run through a series of test prints to get a good setup first time, without having to "react" to printing issues as I get them.
