Connection

Hello,

I have several questions. I just bought the software " simplify 3D" . But the software can not recognize my 3D Phoenix , the connection can not be made . Should we charge an additional file or just update the firmware? ( I attached a screenshot )

Thanke you

Re: Connection

What firmware does that printer use? Do you have the correct port and baud rate selected? Have you already installed the USB drivers for that printer (usually provided by the manufacturer)? Are you sure that nothing else is connected to the printer (since only one program can connect at any time)?

Re: Connection

hiya,

have you checked the port speed on the PC?

you can check that through control panel, device manager and then find your device, right click and go properties.

hope this solves the problem

Re: Connection

Hello,

I have the same problem as Stan with a Leapfrog creatr HS.
Also a "connection failed" message, after checking/changing the port settings and using the correct driver from leapfrog (which created COM9).

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for helping

Re: Connection

Is the printer powered on? Can you connect to it from the Arduino IDE? The Leapfrog uses an Arduino driver, so if the Arduino IDE serial monitor can't connect to it either, than you have some other issue with your computer or printer and there's nothing the software can do to fix it.
