Hi! First day with s3d!

Got a great wall result on the first print but a very bad result with the raft. I'm printing in PLA and the rafts always came out easily on Cura.

So I tried to print without raft and the extrusion was so, so thin that it didn't stick. I could not find a setting to change that and get a thicker first layer without rafts.

Any hint? Should it be like this? Am I stupid?

Sounds like you just need to adjust your z-position. They actually have a great tutorial that explain all of the different first layer settings here: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/tuto ... rst-layer/

I would suggest reading that first. It talks about things like the negative z-offset to move the nozzle closer to the table and 200% first layer height settings, both of which would be useful to you.

Ah yes, thank you! I'll try the First Layer Height configuration, I've already leveled the Z-Axis and everything, must have missed that.
