firmware 0 detected

hiya everyone,

I had to replace my board not long ago and found it pre loaded with sailfish 7.7

I am now getting a message on connection saying firmware detected 0 with a load of packet errors.

the software still works with the printer but does give me CRC errors from time to time.

I've spoken to the support team and they aren't sure what it is.

I connect using USB as I don't have a card reader.

any one have any ideas?

I have tried changing the port speed settings (matching PC to SW) but won't connect at all?

I would reset your firmware's EEPROM settings

What's the right way to do that?

I did a simple, press the reset button on the back but no joy.

I was wondeing if the issue migh lay with windows 7 x64.

I am sure that it worked before under x32 but can't remember correctly.

does any one have any idea about this?
