After months of feature requests and bugs announced, when can we expect a new update?

New updated happen roughly every 2-3 mos or so. If its a major update then it may take longer. Historically there is a major update yearly and then a couple few minor updates. There is no set schedule however. Should be soon though.

ok thanks..
Is there a list (Build Log) of features that will be included in the next update?
Anything really interesting to look forward too? Seems, that if Simplify3D would incorporate some of the features that MatterControl has (Cloud,Sms,App..etc..)
It would be a killer Slicer. I guess something similar to OctoPrint.

simplify has never been much for copying what other slicers do. they have their own way of doing things so i wouldnt hold your breath thinking they they will copy features of mattercontrol. there is no build log. when the update is released there will be a change log posted on the s3d website and usually on the forum. be patient though. i have a feeling something will show up soon.

I have also noted that updates are usually 2 - 3 months apart. However we are now 4 months and counting... I am hoping that the Team is working on the items we are all waiting for such as dual extrusion help like purge towers / wipe walls / etc.

But it would still be nice to get some idea when we might expect an update. I don't like having to switch between different tools for some of these important features when Simplify really does significantly outperform the other slicers in terms of raw speed and quality of print. I do not want them to rush out a product that will cause more problems than it cures but some hints would be nice.......
