hi i'm new to 3d printing i got a wanhao 4s, and i'm trying to print abs with pva supports. the printer changes tools and goes to print but i can't get the support material to for corectly it just goes out as a droole on the print head. i have tried difrent temprature ranges from 200-220C. but still just drools. i was able to print a raft support but not the pillars. i've tried messing around with the support settings but still haven't figured it out. anyone here know how to fix this?

PVA is a fairly challenging material to print with. You will need to make sure that your retraction and temperature settings are just right. If there is no material coming out when you start to use the PVA extruder, then you might want to increase the tool change extra restart distance (see advanced tab). That will help make sure you purge more material when you start using the PVA extruder.

thx. i get some material out of the extruder with higher temperatures. but the material does not go down to the part it just collects at the nozzle. i will try to set the temperature down and try with a bigger restart distance
