Re: Simply3d is slow at startup

I've literally never had it take more than 1-2 seconds to open, so no idea. Maybe your anti-virus is scanning it every time it opens. I used to have an AV that did this, and it made me wait minutes before a program could open, as it had to check it out first. The software also restores your previous work when it opens, so it's possible you could have some giant model that the software has to reload when it opens, but even that should only take a few seconds.

Another possibility is that you're running out of system resources which just slows everything down. What type of computer specs do you have?

Check and make sure your internet connection is working and that there's no AV blocking it or scanning the software.

Re: Simply3d is slow at startup

This is also a problem I have. Also: When it finally loads; and I import an stl file, it shows "Not Responding": and takes a long time to finally import that file. Then when I click "Prepare to Print"; it again shows "Not Responding" for a long time before it finally shows up again. This also happens when I save it to my SD Card. I have sent 2 e-mails to Support and so far have not had a reply. I believe there is a bug in their software and they don't have a fix for it. If it is a bug, I wish they would inform us.
