Simplify3D User Forum

I just want to make a few suggestions as to improvements I would like to see in future updates. Also, I am a MakerBot 5th Gen user who had lots of problems with the MakerBot software. Simplify3D software along with a filament oiler has made my MakerBot a very useful and relatively reliable printer.

1. Improve the Build Time calculation. When running sequential prints the build time varies from 10% to 50% longer than predicted.

2. Change the way duplicate models and processes are auto numbered. Currently, if I duplicate a model or process 15 times the numbering sequence is as follows.

Model
Model(2)
...
Model(10)
Model(11)

The problem is if you save the file and then open it again the software re-arranges them as follows.

Model
Model(10)
Model(11)
Model(2)
Model(3)
...

Obviously this can mess with the printing process so I have to rename all the models with alphabetic titles. Example: A Model, B Model, etc...

#2 has been resolved in the latest 3.0 update. If you make copies of models and then close and reopen the software, they are still listed in the correct order.

Is there any plans in the works to resolve #1? 3.0 is great except for the Build Time discrepancies.
