Infill Extrusion Width problem

Hello,

I have a problem with the Infill Extrusion Width. Am I right that it controls both, the extrusion width of the top / bottom infill layer and as well the infill between the shells?
I have the problem that when I set the Infill Extrusion Width to about 120% my top and bottom layers will look perfectly smooth but my infill is not very strong since the strings don’t bond to each other sufficiently. On the other hand if I set the value to 200% the Infill will be very strong but my top and bottom layer get a very rough surface since there is too much extrusion.

Is there an option to control the extrusion width of the top / bottom infill and the normal infill separately? Or will there be an option in the future?
Is anyone experiencing a similiar problem?

No, The infill extrusion width % setting does not affect solid layers. (top or bottom) This can be seen in the preview window fairly clearly.

Your bottom layers can be adjusted from the first layer settings area on the layer tab.

First Layer Settings. I find that increasing width and decreasing speed helps here.

from layer 2 and up any solid layers are printed with the base printing settings. I've found that sometimes I get a smoother surface if I slow down my print speed. now you of course probably don't want to do this for your whole entire print, and neither do I. I use a separate process for my top solid layers, and use a lower Default Printing Speed.
