FlashForge Dreamer Backlash-like issue

Hey Everyone.

I've had my FF Dreamer printer for about 8 months now and it's been a great tool for my workshop. However, recently I've been having a problem with what looks similar to a backlash issue you'd see on a CNC machine, even though I know that's probably not the case.

Essentially whats happening with the casings I'm making for hand held video game consoles is that my standoff and screw posts are not printing straight. I can get a great first layer for the facing but once the build starts on the screw posts, the extruder never seems to hit the same center point and the posts begin to step in one direct and then pull back as it get's close to the top of the print.

The only thing I can think that would be causing the issue is the speed of the jogging print head and the distance it has to travel to the next post and that sudden stop is just slightly off every time. So what I wanted to try was to slow down the jog speed and the extrusion rate but after the base has printed complete. But I'm not that advanced of a user with the Simplify Software and not sure how I would do that.

If you guys can think of anything else I should try I'd be more than glad to give that a shot. Problem happens with both PLA and ABS material and the big issue is most of my parts have to hold pretty tight tolerances and these wavy screw posts certainly will not do.

I'm printing on medium quality with 25% infill, 200 micron resolution. I haven't played with the advanced settings yet for the real-time control because I haven't had success hooking up my printer to my PC. The new update I think will fix that issue as now there is a profile for the dreamer, but I haven't tried yet. So maybe that's the answer to my problem as well, but I'd like to have an option in the G-Code that'll slow down both the jog and the extrusion rate.

Hope to hear your advice soon! Thanks!

You can change the Rapid XY speed under the Other tab of the Process Settings. Also, if you want to add retraction vertical lift (incase the extruder is hitting these other pillars), you can do so in the Extruder tab in the Retraction settings.

If you need help finding these settings here's a visual:
