exported profile questions

Hi there,

I noticed in the exported profile, there are several configuration about arc
<detectArcs>0</detectArcs>
<arcReplaceG2G3>0</arcReplaceG2G3>
<arcRadialCompensation>1</arcRadialCompensation>

I tried turn on detectArcs by setting it to 1 and import the profile, the gcode is changed. So I'm curious what is this option doing, is this something related to http://reprap.org/wiki/ArcCompensation ? Should I try to turn it on to fix hole to small issue?

For small holes issue, viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2042 would be the way to go.
