I just tested the concentric infill option for the base of a print. It could just be my printer but it looks like I am getting a bit of over-extrusion in the corners when printing a rectangular shape. This infill mode may need either a coast programmed in or it may need to find another way to compensate for this. It is not dramatic but if we are striving for perfection this may need a little work.
I have not tried switching between printers yet but it looks like this has been greatly improved. THANK YOU!!
I love how S3D can print faster by selecting start points that improve print speed by removing unneeded movements. The biggest downside is that rather then an easy to clean up seam, I get small blobs all over my print. I have my extruder dialed in very well but I am still getting these blobs. Are you guys working on blob/seam hiding?
None of the FAQs mention if we should expect any print quality improvements from this version. Have there been any improvements to the slicing engine and it's output?
