I'm really struggling to get good looking areas under supported regions - to the point where there's not much point in having supports at all. I've tried upping the support density, however that just lead to them sticking on more and no better looking outcome. The upper vertical separation layers is typically 1, though for the black PET-G print, it was set at 2 to see whether they'd be easier to remove. Some examples:
This ended up printing in a V-shape (is actually a cylinder)
(it's not in focus but here the supports actually got stuck to the object)
It can also hardly bridge a few mm long (on both ABS and PET-G)
Any suggestions for ideal settings?
(factory file attached - I'm not sure what has caused the mess in the logo on the g-code so will be checking that)
