[SOLVED] Spits out the filament after a pause

For the love of god, why is my extruder doing this after installing 3.0?
I thought it might be the tool change retraction settings but no.
Any ideas?
I pause the print, change the filament, prime the nozzle, hit "resume" and the extruder reverses and spits out the filament completely and then rotates in the right direction. It didn't do this with the old S3D version so I assume one of the settings isn't right but I cant find anything abnormal.

Re: Spits out the filament after a pause

Ok here is the exact issue. After some more testing, I found that the extruder will not spit out the filament after a pause if I don't pre extrude filament to clear the nozzle. If I just hit pause and then resume, without pre extruding filament with the software, the machine goes right back to printing with no issues. If I extrude anything before hitting "resume" the extruder moves back into position and promptly shoots the filament out the extruder inlet.
Im stumped.

In summary, the issue is in the gcode itself, but an easy fix is to switch to relative mode on G-Code tab

Re: Spits out the filament after a pause

Selecting "Relative extrusion distances" under edit process settings/g-code/"g-code options" solved the problem.
