Sliced output is ruined when scaling down the imported model

Examples are attached of the preview of the slicer output for Emmett Lalish's "heart box" at 100% and then again at 50%: While the 100% version is essentially fine, in the scaled down model, many of the polys simply vanish from the slicer output and make it unprintable. I've also included the .STL if you want to troubleshoot it further.

Re: Sliced output is ruined when scaling down the imported m

The problem is that the wall thickness of the box is not big enough to allow a scaling of 50%. The wall is approx 0.7 mm thick, and when scaled by 50% is less than the width of the extruded plastic....and S3D will not try and print what it can't print, so it misses areas out.

Check out other threads where there has been discussion on thin walls....and you'll see further explanations of what S3S does. Such as: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2948
