Cannot import a STL file

I cannot import a STL file. I get a errors message that says . CANNOT AUOT ARRANGE. LARGEST PART EXCEEDS BUILD DIMENSIONS. The part is much smaller the build surface. Plus I have printed these files before with no problems. The problem start with version 2.2.2. I upgraded to 3.0 a few days ago and it worked once in a while, but now it fails about 98 % of the time. Maybe 99%.
I have used Simplify 3D for about a year and half with no problem. Has been a great program.
Any help would be appreciated

Mind posting up the STL file for others to take a look at? I've only ever seen that message pop up when hte STL is larger than the build dimensions

could be a unit translation issue. where it's in mm's but thinks it's in Inches. should still import and request confirmation for units. then it's accept it as is or not accept it and it sets it up in the other unit of measurement.

Just click Ok and the part will still be imported. You can then scale it down to whatever size you need.
The software is just warning you that right now it's too big for your build volume

Exactly same issue on 3.0
Happens on multiple STL files all of which I have printed before and are (obviously) not bigger than the print volume.
When I get the error dialog I click and the import is shown in the left hand side listing - but the model is not shown on the main panel on the bed - if I click center - nothing happens - still no sign of the model. Simplify 3D thinks the STL has been imported but it's nowhere to be seen.
If I remove the stl from the left hand list and then try importing it will randomly succeed and the import works properly but 9 times out of 10 I get the erroneous error
I've attached one of the known good files that I've printed before (that now fails to import)

Talked to Simplify 3d yesterday and they told me that they have a little problem sometimes on Mac's. They advised me to Drag and Drop the file in. That did work for me. I am up and running again.
Thanks Simplify 3D support

Thanks Bob - that seems to work reliably now for me too

Same issue with Mac, I'll try drag and drop. Thank you
