Slices missing from print

My pursuit of a perfect Marvin is having some set backs. He's printing with slices missing... I thought perhaps it was a filament problem until I saw the slicing preview.

Mind posting up a factory file? Just go to file > save factory file as and it should save a factory file which will contain the model and process(es) you have setup!

I've attached the factory file. It looks like they just pushed out an update, so I'm going to install it and see if that helps.
edit: no dice. looks the same

Well, I was able to get the problem to go away. I changed the layer height to .2 and then back to .25 and the gaps vanished. Gremlins...

Ok, I can somewhat reliably recreate the problem.
If a model is sliced at .25mm layer, the gaps are created when supports are added. If "generate support" is unticked the gaps remain.

I had a bash at this. The only way I could get my filament length and build time anything like your picture was to use an infill of 0%. This is what mine looks like.
but it looks like its slicing ok.
