0.2mm nozzle querry

hiya,

I was wondering if any one could help me on this subject.

I use a 0.2mm nozzle and it works well for a while but then all of a sudden it struggles to extrude. and eventually fails.

I printed a fair few parts before it fails but can't figure out why this occurs.

would any one have any understanding as to why it eventually fails. it's a wanhao d4s with a mk10 extruder. it has a ptfe tube liner. I think it's got something to do with it.

I tried to use an extruder unload command for the end code but for some reason it gets stuck and wont unload. normally under those circumstances you extrude a load and then unload the filament but this doesn't work either.

any one got any ideas?

What material? Maybe it is degrading from excessive dwell time.

a .2 nozzle is very small. just they smallest spec of anything can clog it. they can be tricky and finicky to print with. have you removed to give it a good cleaning?

In my experience that happens when the extrusion temp is to low, try setting +5°C
