Simplify3D User Forum

Hi all,

I am having trouble with my 3d printer. I have the leapfrog creatr hs and im using simplify 3d with it. everytime i print it seems to be leaving gaps in them.
I have attatched a couple of pictures, i hope someone can help me.

It looks like you might need more top solid layers (see Layer tab) and also a higher infill percentage to help support those ceilings better.

It's also possible you are under-extruding some, but it's hard to confirm that from your pics

How can i access my extrusion settings so that i am not under extruding?

I would suggest a little light reading on the forum...starting here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2367

Every printer is different in the way that the print settings need to be set for the best finished print.

If you take a browse through this section of the forum, you'll see many asking for advice on how to tweak settings to prevent one thing or another. Again, have a read....and then if you're still confused or stuck, the do ask for assistance. With the increased knowledge you'll have, you'll find answers much easier to follow...

The issue with the arch definitely looks like a "too few top layers" problem, but the problem with the Buddha (?) looks like it might be a problem with the geometry or an extrusion glitch. Was it printing sitting up or lying on its back?

Increase the "extrusion multiplier" on the Extruders tab. For example, if the value was previously 1.0 and you make it 1.05, you will be extruding 5% more plastic.
