Hi,

I'm making jewellery: http://www.3dmigos.net/product/get-busy-pendant-choker/

Using the older version of Simplify3D, I had no problems, but after I upgraded, I'm getting fine hairs between my letters that I need to clean up...

Is this the retraction settings? I haven't changed anything...

Thanks,

Cris.

I can't help you with what might have changed, but I would suggest playing with the "Coast" feature. A setting of 0.6mm really cleaned up my prints...

Turning on wiping should eliminate stringing. This will make the extruder wipe along the perimeter before traveling to the next loop. The default of 5.00 mm should work fine for your jewelry model.

Coasting is more for when you're over-extruding at the end of all loops. Which doesn't seem to be present in your picture.

for more info on what the retraction settings do check out this guide: http://jinschoi.github.io/simplify3d-docs/
