Sorry if this isn't in the right spot.

I'm not sure what settings I should be changing to fix this, I've only noticed it with new ABS that I recently purchased.

When the model is printing top layers on an almost horizontal angle there are gaps between the layers.
This is on a Flashforge Creator Pro, current S3D settings are - http://imgur.com/a/lYGkw

It had the same printing issue on a model of A'Tuin, a turtle (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:662018/#files), specifically on the flippers and underside of the head.

Post your factory file. Otherwise we are just guessing in the dark.

That's a nice looking duct. Looks like the walls may be really thin and the areas you're experiencing problems is actually bridging over the duct vanes. And since that surface is curved, its printing as a perimeter...

Netfabb reports issues with the model... but they weren't around the areas you were having issues.

Try the following:
- increasing the number of perimeters to 3
- lower the perimeter outline underspeed to 40
- increase bridging extrusion multiplier to 101 - 103.
- change the layer height to .1.

Personally, I would increase the number of outline/perimeters to 3 (see Layer tab) and then increase the outline overlap percentage to 30% (see Infill tab). That should help close up those open gaps much better.

Thank you both for the recommendations, I will give it a shot on the weekend.
