Hello everybody,
I have a CubePro Trio I am trying to figure out how to work with two extruders.
I tried printing a two color frog, which would be working (first put frog in simplify 3d, then convert with CodeX64 to a .cubepro file) and the frog would print for a few layers, and then the extruders get REALLY REALLY, REALLY HOT after about 30 mins and the filament goes under the actual gear of the motor where it should be gripping the filament. I don't know if the heat is transferring from the extruder tip, or the motors are overworking, but they melt the filament way sooner than it should be, and create clogs like you've never seen before. That was question 1 - why are the motors working so hard? Retraction speed was 1800 mm/min.
Now, I tried printing a cone as per one of the forum posts, but now the CubePro displays "invalid file format" despite the file being converted from S3D-> CX64->Printer. I recently updated the printer to V 1.12A and now the files wont be recognized. Is this update what is preventing the file from printing, or is it my settings in S3D?
I have two processes in S3D, one for each color. In the process I have selected Dual extruder (1+2) for both.
Please help!!
Thank you!
