Update madness

What's with the clunky update routine?
I just started S3D 3.01 and was prompted to download 3.02, I unzipped the file and ran the install assuming it would un-install 3.01 first, but no, it left that there so all my shortcuts still pointed to 3.01. Fine, so I manually un-installed 3.01, and guess what, that removed "every" shortcut to S3D (so no shortcuts left to 3.02, even under "All Apps").
In the end I un-installed 3.02, then reinstalled, but seriously, I don't think I've used such a clunky install routine since the days of Windows 3 !
