Change temperatures on the fly

Hello,

First, thanks for a great piece of software. I've been using it with the Monoprice 3D printer and it has been a pleasure.

I apologize if this has been asked before; is there a way to either change nozzle temperatures on the fly, or via a script? As you can imagine, when testing different filaments it would be a nice feature to be able to change temperatures incrementally to see variations resulting from temp changes. If this is not implemented, perhaps it could be in the future? A "filament test" sub-menu where a "test shape" is used (for consistency) is loaded, with options for "how many" test temps over what time would be awesome. A database of materials tested could then be generated along with results which could then be published for everyone to see would an enormous help.

Thanks!

Pretty sure you can do this through the machine control panel. Just enter the extruder temperature and click "Set" while it is printing

The Temperature tab on the profile settings has fields that allow you to change temperature at one or more particular layers.

Is this want you want??

Thanks for the replies. Yes, changing the temps at layers will do it.

Thanks again,
