Simplify3D User Forum

Hi, These are my first experience with 3D-printing. I use a German RepRap X400 pro with dual Extruder. If I add an second Extruder in the Settings I can't see it in the dash board on the top beside "Auto-Configure for Print Quality" (like described in the Manual). Is there a Special Profil or Setting I Need to activate?

The "Auto Configure Extruder" drop-down just shows you the auto configure options that have been defined for that profile. S3D already setup all of these options for any of the profiles that you get from the, but if you're making your own profile, you will need to setup these options on your own.

If you go to File > Export FFF Profile, and save your profile to your hard drive, you can open it in a text editor. Look for the <autoConfigureExtruder> sections, since that's what shows up in that drop down list. If you don't have any in there, then you will need to add them if you want that functionality.
