New user pronlems

Hiya
So I've just got a new printer and decided to purchase this software and so far I've found it to be really easy to use but...... I've only managed a couple of prints, but I think it's my issues, not the software, nor the printer.

I printed a file in the default high res setting in PLA.
I designed it in Autodesk123d, and it's a model of a Disney park trash can

But when it got to the top, it didn't print the top surface.

I also notice the lhorizontal ines are showing all the way up, but I assume that's the technology at the moment.

Anyone help with the top surface issue?

Btw , I can't seem to attach an image to the post

Just click "upload attachment" to add an image. It's hard to give much advice without one...

Re: New user problems

I've tried other models which seem to be ok when I add more levels at the top and bottom
So I'll try another one.

Re: New user pronlems

I'd recommend adding more top solid layers, and maybe also increasing the infill percentage slightly to give a better foundation below the solid layers
