Hi, regarding bed levelling, After I have equalled the four corners of the bed the centre portion is very tight, to tight for my liking., it seems as though the bed is warped.
Could I fix this problem by using a raft, if so any recommended settings . Thanks

could be the rods are bent slightly.
either just the x or the y or both.
I know that the wanhao sometimes has that issue due to the manner it is packed for shipping.

I had the same problem with my printer. I found that I could print small objects just fine in the center but larger objects always failed because the distance between the nozzle and bed got larger and larger as it moved away from the center. After lots of frustration, the only solution I found was to upgrade to a glass plate print bed. You can find them for about 30 bucks shipped. Not only did it fix that problem, but it has also significantly improved bed adhesion as well. Plus, you never have to buy Kapton Tape again.

I am using a boro 3mm sheet at present, but when I tighten it down it just bends to the shape of the bed, so the problem is still there.
Will a raft help with this.

The solution is to only support the sheet where you fix it down and leave a gap elsewhere (eg use a washer on the bolts).....and don't tighten it down too hard - just enough to stop it rattling on its fixings. The printer will put virtually no force on the bed....its only you who will do that!

Thanks Doug,
How would that effect the bed heating.
