Hi All,
up to now I have been getting reasonable prints, I say reasonable because I have not been at it long enough to know what a good print should look like, but I have been happy with the results. Until now that is, can anyone explain to me what went wrong with this one, not a good image, but you should be able to see the problem. Thanks

Looks like your infill percentage is too low for the number of top solid infill layers chosen.

Either increase the number of solid layers or increase the percentage infill.

Ok, the top and bottom layers are set to four and the percentage to 30, these are the settings that that have always been set and have worked up to now.
Also it is set to solid every layer.

I have been watching this very closely, and it seems that the extruder is retracting during the infill, and it increases as the print gets towards the end of the print. Can anyone see the cause of this.
My settings are as follows.
retrac dist = 3.25.
retrac vert lift = 2
Speed = 3025
coasting = 0.80

Coasting is the likely culprit. Disable that.

Also if you have solid every layer your infill percentage would be ignored fyi.

i dont know about the retracting but usually when your getting top surfaces that are broken with holes in it then thats usually a sign that your printing too hot for the material. drop the temp 10 deg, print again and let us know what happens
