First layer speeds up after support is started

I have had a couple of prints that wouldnt print properly. So, I sat and watched the start of the print. I typically have the first layer go at 20% speed. The object has three posts in a triangular pattern with support in between. The start of the first post is fine. Then, some of the support is laid down at the same speed. Then, when it goes to put the first layer of the second post down it speeds up to normal speed for the remainder of the print. I will tend to get some warping because my first layer is not good on the two posts that are laid down faster.

I have only seen this happen a couple of times and I cannot seem to get rid of the speed up on the first layer. Any ideas?

Have you figured this out?

Did support reply to you? I have the same problem. The speed jumps after the first layer

If you don't want it to print slower on the first layer, then set the "first layer speed" to 100% (on the Layer tab). Otherwise, it's going to print slower and then speed up for the 2nd layer. This helps with adhesion.
